경상남도 밀양시 산내면과 청도군 운문면，울산광역시 울주군 상북면 등에 높이 1000m 이상 되는 7개의 산군(山群).
가지산(1,241m)，운문산(1,188m)，천황산(재약산:1，189m)，신불산(1,159m)，영축산(1,081m)，고헌산(1,034m)，간월산(1,069m) 등 7개 산군이 유럽의 알프스처럼 아름답다는 의미에서 이름이 붙여졌다.
전체 종주에는 2박 3일 정도 걸리며，등억온천，사자평，밀양 남명리의 얼음골，대곡리암각화，밀양 농암대，통도사，석남사，운문사，표충사 등의 명소와 사찰 들도 곁들여 갈 수 있다.
신불산과 취서산 사이의 신불평원 60여만 평과 간월산 밑 간월재의 10만여 평，고헌산 정상 부근의 20만여 평에 억새군 락지가 있다.

Seven mountain counties are over 1,000m high in Sannae-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, Unmun-myeon, Cheongdo-gun, and Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan.
Seven mountain groups, including Gajisan (1,241m), Unmunsan (1,188m), Cheonhwangsan (1,189m), Sinbulsan (1,159m), Yeongchuksan (1,081m), and Goheonsan (1,034m), and Kanwolsan (1,069m), were named as beautiful as the European Alps.
It takes about two nights and three days to complete, and you can also visit famous places and temples such as Deungdeok Hot Spring, Sajapyeong, Miryang Nammyeong-ri Ice Valley, Daegok-ri Rock Painting, Miryang Nongamdae, Tongdosa Temple, Seoknamsa Temple, Unmunsa Temple, and Pyochungsa Temple.
There are about 600,000 pyeong of Sinbul Plain between Sinbulsan and Chuseosan Mountain, 100,000 pyeong of Ganwoljae under Ganwolsan Mountain, and 200,000 pyeong of land near the summit of Goheonsan Mountain.
